Verote founder Marcus Thomas has had a gift of being able to engage kids as far back as he can remember. At 10 years old, the type of play Marcus could create for his cousins and their friends was magical. Marcus has always (and continues to) gravitated towards kids, movement and play. The fact that he has now built a business around his passion is something he didn’t even believe was possible. Verote started with a prompt from Marcus’s life coach – “Why can’t you run a camp for kids – you already know how to engage kids – so why not…why not try?” Marcus didn’t have an answer so he started on this journey – with his supportive wife (incredibly supportive) and his two sons both happy to tag along for the ride because they always enjoy what Dad can do with movement and play.
The memories showcased below, is Marcus’s impossible dream unfolding. The dream of having a job that entails kids, movement and play. The experiences created by Marcus (and his team) through Verote’s summer camps have become memories he holds very close to his heart.
