A spectacular backdrop to spend a day.
“A wonderful way to take a break from the indoors”

Under the cover of The Trees.
enjoy the Cicadas.
You’ll be able to spot Cicadas amongst the trees at the park. They are not dangerous but they can be very loud. Did you know: Shortly after hatching from its egg, a 17-year cicada nymph tunnels into the earth, where it resides for the initial 17 years of its life. Upon emerging, it enjoys a brief span of four to six weeks—just enough time for mating, fertilizing or laying eggs, initiating a new lifecycle once again.

Caring for Green Space
We do our best to respect the beauty that surrounds us. We look out for the creatures that sometimes join us during the day, and we make every effort to leave the park as pristine as we found it, i.e. all food wrappers are returned to our lunch containers instead of placing in trash bins, because animals will take out and eat anything with food residue leaving the wrappers through out the park. And we don’t want that!

The softest soft.
Spend your days with a cushion of grass under you feet. Run hard, or just lie down and watch the sky.

The Pavilion.
The park has a pavilion to provide a place to go if the rain is pouring down, or when creativity is bubbling up.

Great facilities.
In addition to a park full of picnic tables, there are also washrooms with flushable toilets.
