  • Registration fees are eligible for a full refund until May 31. Refunds are subject to a $40 administrative fee per child.
  • If WRITTEN cancellation is received less than 14 days of your start date, your options include switching to another available camp week or receiving a credit to be used for a future camp.
  • Once camp has started, no refunds for any reason will be given.
  • Should Verote find it necessary to de-register a child, a refund will be issued minus the deduction for period already attended.
  • If you want to change a registered week of camp (i.e. to another week) an administrative change fee of $25 per change will apply.
  • In the event that we are prohibited from operating due to a government order related to COVID-19 or similar type occurrence, full refunds or credits for future use will be provided.
  • Camp credits will be honoured for 1 year from the start date of the event the credit was issued for.

PROGRAMMING

  • Verote Inc. reserves the right to change or update our policies, terms and conditions and/or programming as the Ministry of Health or health professionals may make recommendations and/or changes to the COVID-19 guidelines prior to and/or during the summer.

CAMP DETAILS

  • Lunch is NOT provided.
  • Camps are full day camps from 9am to 4pm (unless alternate times are explicitly specified). None of the summer camps are overnight.
  • Before and aftercare is available (see Extended Care section).

MULTIPLE REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS

  • a discount applies for multiple full-price registrations that are purchased at the same time, i.e. when registering siblings or when an individual registers for multiple camps.

COMMUNICATION

  • Please ensure you are receiving Verote.ca emails as this is our primary means of communication. Verote cannot be responsible for missed communication due to email filtering. It is recommended you add the “verote.ca” domain to your email safe list.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

  • In the event of rain, camp will continue. However in the event of inclement weather, the group will move to a designated sheltered area until the weather clears. Please note there are no camp refunds or credits for bad weather.

EXTENDED CARE

  • We can offer extended care for weekly campers if required at a rate of $15/camper/occurrence (note: morning care is a separate occurrence from afternoon). If “before” and “after” care are required on the same day the cost for care will be $25/camper/day. This request must be received before the start of camp.
    • Before care: 8.00a – 8.30a
    • After care: 4.30p – 5.00p
  • During extended care time, your child will be supervised by one of our team members but they will be expected to engage of their own accord in some type of productive but informal activity. This service is paid in advance and is non-refundable.
  • For single day (PA day) or special events, contact us to discuss early or late drop off options if the time ranges don’t fit your schedule.

END OF DAY PICK UP

  • We ask that you pick up your camper(s) up within 30 mins of the end of the scheduled day. There will be a charge of $10/minute for every minute over. Our team members often have post camp day commitments (sports, coaching, work, etc.), so the Verote Team appreciates prompt pick ups.
  • We reserve the right to ask you to withdraw from camp for multiple late pick up occurrences.

SIGN IN/OUT PROCESS

  • Campers will be signed in at drop off and signed out at pick up. The only authorized persons who can sign in/drop off are either one of the names submitted during registration. If you require a 3rd authorized individual you must complete a release form.

ILLNESS

  • In the event your child shows signs and symptoms of any illness, including COVID-19, please do not bring them to camp until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours. Should your child fall ill during the course of the camp day, we will contact you to make arrangements to pick them up as soon as possible as we do not have enough personnel to remain close and observe a single child for an extended period of time.
