Multi-sport Camp loaded with Movement
Mornings begin with group games and movement activities. The morning intention is to merge the practice of movement competency, social connection with fun. We shift in the afternoons into sport exploration and socializing – introducing fundamentals for volleyball, soccer baseball, dodge ball, flag football, frisbee, badminton, soccer, tug-o-war, power tag and more! We encourage campers to choose the activities.

Developing Autonomy
Our camp is not just a camp. It’s a space that affords choice and voice. A place for a child’s voice to be heard. A place where the practice of listening to what our inner voice is saying so that we can bring that voice outward. For many kids, CHOICE is a luxury that escapes them – they are told where to go, what to do and how to feel. Verote (veh-row-tay) fosters the practice of listening and communicating what’s inside. Play helps to build your innner voice. Our summer camps are a chance for kids to discover and experience a multitude of sports, activities and socializing. When possible, we encourage kids to guide themselves without camp leader intervention – this builds confidence. The more a child practices self-reliance, the better they become at taking control of what they want not just at camp but in life too. To foster an autonomous experience, our afternoons tend to be more unstructured, giving campers the opportunity to lead THEIR way through play.
More than Just a Place to leave your Child.
Our camps are lead by mature, capable and kind leaders. In addition, adult support and supervision is on site every day for the entire day. Mixed in with sport are a few other ingredients (attributes) our leaders attempt to foster with our campers. Creativity, Resilience, Compassion and Emotional Intelligence.
Our leaders leaders are there to support, join in play, facilitate, socialize and quietly observe. A Verote Camp Leader’s goal is to ensure an enriching and fun-filled experience for each camper.
What To Expect when you Join us for Summer Camp
Our camp is located in picturesque Anchor Park, East Gwillimbury (2 minute drive north of Yonge/Mount Albert). Mature trees afford lots of shade right next to the playing field. This allows the opportunity for frequent cooling breaks from the sun. Our days are filled with fresh air and loads of sun to take in healthy doses of vitamin D.
Multi-sport Camp activities for each week are all centered around movement, play and fostering creativity. We’d love for you to join us and EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF PLAY.

Campers receive a shirt with their registration and can get a second shirt FREE to make laundry for the week easier – available while supplies last.
